The Grad Cafe and Reading Room is owned and run by the GSA. Just like the Grad Lounge, it is the only coffee hangout dedicated to Grad students! The Grad Cafe is a quiet space and is located at 167 South Ross, just next door to the Grad Lounge.
Given that there is a shortage of grad student space on campus, and an even greater shortage of space for coffee, the cafe is the place on campus for grad students to eat, drink, and socialize.
Aside from coffee and tea, lattes and cappucinos, the Grad Cafe as a variety of menu items if you're in a rush. There are New Moon cookies, burritos, channa wraps and assorted fruit. Like the Grad Lounge, the Grad Cafe serves Fair Trade coffee and hot chocolate at a good price (in a biodegradable cup if you're on the go, unless of course you bring your own cup).
