Recent Issues of the YUGSA Newsletter:
Newsletters go out during the first week of every month which allows us to include highlights of our monthly meetings with the Dean and YUGSA council. We may send an additional volume in the middle of the month if we acquire enough articles or have important announcements.
If your research, an event you are hosting, or other business requires a departmental or campus-wide graduate student audience or participants you could request to put in an article in our newsletter. This is a great way to get in touch with thousands of grads in one go. Please note that we also offer great solutions through our paid subscription with Adobe FormsCentral for online application forms and surveys.

The YUGSA Newsletter is one of our powerful tools for reaching out to the membership. We provide news regarding changes within YUGSA and its services, changes in the York Administration affecting graduate students, on-going campaign updates, summary of YUGSA's meeting with key people in the York administration including Dean of FGS and university President. The newsletters often includes job opportunities on and off campus, call outs from graduate students, information about important events at York or in the community, and more. We realize that graduate students receive an overwhelming volume of emails from their graduate programs, campus operations, supervisors and peers, faculty office and other. To avoid losing your interest in staying in touch with us, we have completely changed the frequency, the organization, and the look of our newsletters starting in summer 2014.
If you often find yourself with the lack of time or interest to follow our news, please at least scan the headlines to make sure you don't miss out on important announcement that may affect you.
